Hola soy de Cardenas SLP pero tambien lamentablemente vivo en San Antonio, Texas. Bueno puedo decir que estudio en la Universidad de Texas en San Antonio y que extrano ir a Cardenas muchisisimo! Hola……Mi nombre es Efraín Portales Campos de Guadalajara, Jalisco. Buscando en el Internet acerca de mis antepasados Portales, encontré estos mensajes. Es muy probable que exista algún parentesco lejano con Karina Portales ya que mi bisabuelo Hilario Portales Tobías nació alrededor de 1870 en hoy Armadillo de los Infante, SLP (población cercana a Villa Hidalgo) y vivió en Guadalajara desde 1898 Hilario Portales fue hijo de Pedro Portales y Felipa Tobías, nieto de Faustino Portales y Maria De La Luz Reyes y al parecer bisnieto de Miguel Portales y Eugenia Tobías. En 2 1/2 semanas viajare a Guadalajara y por primera vez a SLP y Armadillo a investigar y confirmar la información que tengo de mis antepasados. Rioverde es mas que la media luna y las ricas tortas del tigre, conocer la ciudad a través de los famosos carros tirados por caballos (solkis), plazas tranquilas que invitan a sentarse. En la calle Matamoros se localiza el Museo Regional de Rioverde, exhibe una interesante colección de arqueología, la entrada es gratuita, en la gastronomía, el platillo más famoso son las enchiladas rioverdenses que se sirven con pollo, también se puede comer tostadas de maíz, gorditas, puedes nadar en el manantial de agua templada de la media luna o palma larga y admirar el hermoso paisaje enclavado en un valle rodeado de cerros bajos. La Media Luna cuenta con palapas, asaderos y baños y lleva tu tienda de campaña para acampar. Sin lugar a dudas es el mejor lugar de la entidad para practicar buceo, las aguas tienen un promedio de visibilidad de 36 metros, gracias a ello se puede admirar el paisaje subacuático. Oyes que pues a todos los de por ahi de Rio Verde y los alrededores. Pues vengo llegando de Rio verde y que bien estube toda la pachanga. Estube en rio Verde y que de bailes por todos lados. Para empesar en San Diego estubo Conjunto Rio Grande, Los Pumas del Norte, Paco Barron, Los Indomables, Triny y la leyenda y por supesto siempre con la animacion de El sonido Sibers (arriba el Sibers). Y no se diga de los bailasos en Rio Verde. Quien estubo por ahi en los bailes de Los Hurancanes el dia 1 en el R3 y Kpaz el dia 8 en Centro de espectaculos Pecina. Pues yo fui a Rio Verde este Diciembre del 2005, y primero fui a un baile de la projeccion de Rio verde y despues a un jaripeo donde tocaron los Nortenos De Ojinaga,luego a otro jaripeo donde estuvo Conjunto Atardecer y los Huracanes Del Norte.Despues en ano nuevo fui aver a Patrulla 81 en el salon R-3 y al ultimo el 5 de Enero fui al baile de despedida a los paisonos donde estuvo K-paz de la sierra.
